Cracked wheel repair
Starting from £35 per wheel
To achieve a strong weld, the Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding procedure is used for fixing cracked wheels. This procedure produces the highest quality welds and must not be confused with normal welding.
Due to pot holes in today’s roads there is a higher incidence of cracked wheels.
A severely bent wheel will be checked for cracks by the technicians. The area that will be checked is under the paint near the base of the spokes. The application of heat to the wheel will make the metal conform to the desired shape, enabling a very high standard repair to the wheel.
Speedy’s Wheels and Tyres is vastly experienced in this field. In our service to repair cracks, we also offer the restoration and strengthening of the wheel at an affordable price.
